CHAMBER BREAKFAST
Change is coming in September!
 
 The breakfast charge of $5.00 per member and $10 per non-member will begin with the September breakfast.
 
Members can pay in advance for a years (11) breakfasts for $55.   Tickets will be issued for prepays and the tickets will be required for entry.
 
Breakfast tickets will be available at the chamber office for purchase.

Beginning in September, the Chamber's Small Business Development Group (SBDG) will host a new Lunch and Learn Series for Small Businesses.  The Luncheons are tentatively scheduled for the Third Monday of each month at noon at Beef O Brady's in Jefferson.  The cost for the Lunch & Learn will be $15 for members and $25 for non-members. The topics scheduled for the inaugural series are:

Got Scarecrows?  As a part of the Hoschton Fall Festival, the City of Hoschton is attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the most scarecrows in one area. They want to have 4,000+ scarecrows within the Hoschton mailing area. Commerce Downtown Development Authority has the following events planned:
Back-to-School Movie in the Park event in Downtown Commerce Friday, August 22 at 8:30pm at Spencer Park.  Free concessions available.  They will be showing Shrek III  on a 20' x 20' inflatable screen with professional sound system. 
Tigers on the Town Downtown Pep Rally August 28 at 7:30pm at Spencer Park.  Come help celebrate the new school year at the annual pep rally. 
 
Braselton will be showing Dr. Seuss's "Horton Hears A  Who" on Saturday, August 23rd in the Braselton Park at dusk.  The park is one block west of GA 53 in downtown Braselton.  Remember to bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the family-centered activities prior to the film.
